AVrs Verification Router Service Solution: Antares Vision

Antares Vision recently introduced a sophisticated verification router service for optimized compliance with serialization mandates. At Interphex, the company showcased the new AVrs, a software solution designed for compliance with DSCSA verification requirements. While managing the serialization data flow to connect all distribution stakeholders, manufacturers and repackagers, it provides efficient data management and compatibility with various hardware and software used throughout the supply chain – including other brand owners, CMOs and healthcare agencies.

A Verification Router Service, or VRS, is one of a series of milestone requirements for the next phase of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act. Beginning in late November 2019, no returned serialized product may be resold until the wholesale distributor verifies that product’s unique identifiers, including the SNI for each sealed homogeneous case or package.

A VRS is an interoperable solution used to manage the acceptance, formatting and delivery of requests and responses to support these DSCSA verification requirements, as well as other business data as defined by trading partners. The establishment of shared standards for sales stream reintegration has become vital for the pharmaceutical industry.

AVrs has two integral features that can guarantee superior interoperability. First is a fast connection and response, the result of an interconnected, hierarchic model of graph database architecture in which data processing is performed at the same speed even when the volume of information increases; this ensures high speed performance and secure management of master data and interoperability. Second, smart reporting and business intelligence provides real time, shared information on service performance and traffic statistics, which covers many crucial factors such as geolocation and customizable analytics.
