The Paper and Packaging Board Seeks Nominations for 2024 Board

Nominations Due by May 15, 2023

The Paper and Packaging Board (P+PB) is seeking nominees for three open board seats in the following regions: one from the South, one from the rest of the U.S. and one Importer seat. Each seat is a three-year term beginning January 1, 2024.

The Board is seeking three seasoned executives who can bring deep industry knowledge to the board’s deliberations and represent a range product sectors including containerboard, paperboard, kraft and printing and writing and office paper sectors. Additionally, the board encourages the nomination of diverse candidates including women, minorities, ethnicities and cultures who can bring different perspectives and ideas to the board’s deliberations and discussions.

Nominations are accepted from April 1 through May 15, 2023, and must be submitted to USDA. The Secretary of Agriculture appoints new board members by the end of 2023.
