The Griff Network Acquires Atlas Metallizing Inc.

The Griff Network, a manufacturer, extruder, coater, laminator, and metallizer, has completed the acquisition of Atlas Metallizing in New Britain, CT. The addition of Atlas will help expand the company’s current reach into packaging, graphic, and technical markets.

Atlas Metallizing is a well-established, quality-driven, toll metallizer with an excellent reputation in the industry. The company has been providing service to a wide variety of customers and industries since 1990.

“We are very happy to welcome the Atlas team to our family.” Alex Phinn, President of The Griff Network, stated. “The knowledge, talent, and expertise they bring to our group is invaluable. We look forward to introducing new products for the diverse industries we serve.”

With the Atlas acquisition, the company will have an entire facility dedicated to specialized metallizing services. This expansion will add capacity and complement Griff’s other divisions that serve the packaging, insulation, building and construction, electronic, graphic arts, and photovoltaic industries.
