The Arthur G. Russell Company to Acquire Bodine Automation Technology from DTE (Detroit Tool & Engineering)

BRISTOL, Conn. – August 5, 2014 – The Arthur G. Russell Company, Inc. (AGR), a leading provider of automatic assembly solutions, today announced the acquisition of Bodine Automation Technology, a division of Missouri-based DTE. The Bodine assets acquired include its intellectual property, engineering/service operations, and parts inventory.

Founded in 1932 by Alfred V. Bodine, the former Bodine Corporation was headquartered in Bridgeport, Connecticut until 2007. Bodine designs and builds automated assembly solutions ranging from stand-alone machines to fully integrated production systems and is a recognized leader in automated assembly technology.
