Ossid 500Si High-Speed Stretch Overwrapper

Stretch overwrapping is a staple packaging option for meat, and no machine produces tightly wrapped trays at high speeds better than Ossid’s 500Si High-Speed Stretch Overwrapper. The 500Si is a reliable tuck-and-fold machine that uses a gripper chain system to stretch the film evenly to produce securely wrapped, PVC case ready packaging at speeds of up to 120 trays per minute.

The 500Si is easier to operate and maintain than other overwrap packaging machines, thanks to servo-driven technology and microprocessors that reduce downtime and maintenance. The machine’s small footprint makes it ideal for space-constrained environments, and its hygienic design is augmented by sloped panels that eliminate standing water. This redesigned machine is capable of handling up to 180 packages per minute, making it the perfect labeling option for high-speed meat packaging applications. The National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) approved WPL comes with a user-friendly, intuitive interface, and is also modular in design, giving users short lead and delivery times.

These two machines will be paired together packaging a simulated pork and steak application.

Reepack ReeEco Tray Sealing Machine

Another popular packaging option for the meat industry is the Reepack ReeEco Tray Sealing Machine, a high-quality, energy-efficient unit that’s housed in a compact footprint for Ambient, MAP, and VSP applications. It features a standard infeed conveyor with three loading positions, easy changeover, automatic output belt conveyor, and a user-friendly control panel.

At the show, the ReeEco Tray Sealing Machine will be flexing its strengths in a simulated ground beef, tray lid MAP packaging demonstration.

Reepack RV 620 Vacuum Chamber

Finally, show attendees can see the attributes of Reepack’s RV 620 Vacuum Chamber. The RV 620 is a semi-automatic machine available in a tabletop or wheeled-frame model. Store and select up to nine automatic programs. Evacuation and gas flushing processes are pressure controlled for high-quality packing. It will be packaging a simulated brisket application.
