METTLER TOLEDO to Host Webinar on Improving Bone Detection with X-ray Inspection

METTLER TOLEDO Product Inspection Group will present a free, live webinar, “Advanced Detection of Bone with X-ray Inspection,” on December 3, 2025. The session focuses on challenges associated with bone contamination in meat and poultry applications and outlines steps processors can take to protect product quality and maintain regulatory compliance.

Bone fragments remain a persistent issue for meat and poultry operations. If a fragment reaches the consumer, it can cause injury and expose manufacturers to costly recalls, legal action and reputational damage. Dual energy x-ray technology can help prevent these issues, outperforming single energy methods in identifying low-density contaminants like bone. Webinar attendees will learn about these topics in depth and see a demonstration of the dual energy X36 DXD+ in action.

Led by expert Adam Green of METTLER TOLEDO, the session will run twice that day, including a 9 a.m. ET broadcast. Processors can register at: https://www.mt.com/us/en/home/events/live-webinars/product-inspection/x-ray-bone-detection.html?cmp=em-tp_GLO_PIUS_BoneDetWeb-PR_1125

METTLER TOLEDO will also exhibit at IPPE, booth C24159, taking place January 27 to 29 in Atlanta, Georgia. The X36 DXD+ x-ray system featured in the webinar will be on display.
