INDUSTRIAL PACK 2019 announces “State of the Nation” address lead by Kyle Stavig, CEO Myers Container LLC

Industrial Pack is honored to welcome Kyle Stavig, CEO of Myers Container LLC, to present our most anticipated conference session the State of the Nation. Stavig will discuss the state of U.S. industrial packaging industry today and the challenges and opportunities that we will face together as an industry over the next five years.

Stavig brings his years of industry leadership and experience to the Industrial Pack Conference. He currently serves as Chair of IPANA along with being CEO of Myers Container LLC, General Steel Drum LLC, Container Management Services LLC, and North Coast Container LLC.

Industrial Pack is honored to have Kyle Stavig kick-off what will be lively and important conference sessions covering the most substantive and talked about industry issues.

This year’s conference speakers are the top influencers from the buyer, supplier and key trade association areas and each session is the perfect opportunity to hear from industry experts and participate in lively discussions with your peers.

Here’s a glimpse at the Industrial Pack Conference agenda:

Chris Lind, Vice Chair and Treasurer of IPANA and Chairman of RIBCA will lead three technical presentations on: Plastic Drums 101; Composite 101; Steel Drums 101. Lind, formerly of Mauser USA LLC, unpacks the advantages and characteristics of plastic drums, composites and steel drums.

Paul Griffin, Technical Lead for Large Part Blowmolding in North America at LyondellBasell and an IPANA, RIBCA and PDI member. Griffin will lead our session on Polyethylene Manufacturing and Properties – discussing the ins and outs of polyethylene. He will discuss the basics including introductory definitions along with illustrated examples, plus the supply chain and resin properties.

Janice Loppe, from UPA will lead an important professional discussion on Navigating the Packaging Ecosystem. Loppe will discuss how one maintains professional relevancy amid our changing environment. How do we learn about the changes that impact our industry and our livelihood? How can we collaborate effectively and build networks that we can leverage for professional growth?
