Florida-Based Versatile Packagers Joins South Atlantic, ProStar Family of Contract Packaging Companies

Contract packaging leader South Atlantic Packaging welcomes Tampa, Fla-based Versatile Packagers as the latest addition to the family of contract packaging companies that also includes ProStar Packaging in Pennsylvania.

“As we expand our footprint to ultimately serve the U.S. from coast to coast, we continue to explore the acquisition of other contract packagers whose operations and culture mirror our own,” said Julian Bossong, South Atlantic CEO. “At the same time, Versatile has been seeking a strategic partner who could help develop and further expand its business. We jointly determined that we were a perfect fit for one another.”

South Atlantic will help Versatile pursue certifications and adopt technology needed to support strategic-level customers and will provide operational support, enabling Versatile’s leadership to devote more time to its customers and team members, and building its business.

Versatile will maintain its identity and its base in Florida, and its leadership team will remain with the company to provide management and operational expertise across the organization.
