FlexPackPRO Names New Vice President

ALPHARETTA, Georgia, October 24, 2016 – Specialty printing and coding equipment manufacturer FlexPackPRO (www.flexpackpro.com) has announced the promotion of Don Phelps to the position of Vice President of Technical Services. Mr. Phelps previously held the position of division manager.

In his new role, Mr. Phelps will have executive responsibility for the organization’s engineering, installation and service divisions. Primary concentrations will include product training, project management, integration design, field installations and overall technical support for the expanding line of FlexPackPRO Thermal Transfer Overprinting Systems. Effectively serving the technical teams and sales engineers of FlexPackPRO’s national network of distributors will be Mr. Phelps’s core priority.

Prior to joining FlexPackPRO at the beginning of 2015, Mr. Phelps was a technical department manager for Norwood Marking Systems. During his 30-year tenure at the company, which is now part of ITW, he designed and implemented successful solutions for thousands of industrial marking and coding applications. “We’re tremendously fortunate to have Don as part of our leadership team,” said company co-founder Bruce Walter. “There are only a handful of guys in our industry with the knowledge and experience of a Don Phelps, and his contributions to both FlexPackPRO and our distributors’ businesses have been nothing short of remarkable.”
