Dorner Affirms its Pledge for Continuous Improvement by Receiving ISO 9001:2015 Recertification

Dorner’s Hartland, Wisconsin facility has received recertification for compliance with the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2015 standard. Dorner originally applied for and received the certification in 2018 and passed surveillance audits the last two years. With this renewal, Dorner’s quality management system remains certified through 2024.

ISO 9001:2015 is the latest quality management standard that helps businesses and organizations be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. This standard is designed to meet the needs of today’s business world by focusing on risk-based thinking to achieve a coherent foundation for growth and sustained success.

Companies that are ISO 9001:2015 certified place greater emphasis on leadership engagement and help address organizational risks and opportunities in a structured manner.

“In the past three years we’ve made great strides implementing this certification to all aspects of our business to ensure we offer our customers the best conveyors on the market today,” said Terry Schadeberg, president, Dorner. “Receiving our ISO 9001:2015 recertification signifies to customers our drive for continuous improvement, and confidence in our products.”

Dorner’s Jülich, Germany, location is also ISO 9001:2015 certified. Originally certified in September 2018, the facility was recertified in 2020.

More than one million organizations from 160+ countries have applied the ISO 9001 standard requirements to their quality management systems. The seven principles of ISO 9001:2015 are:

  • Customer focus;
  • Leadership;
  • Engagement of people;
  • Process approach;
  • Improvement;
  • Evidence-based decision making; and
  • Relationship management.
