Co-located Events Enhance PACK EXPO East 2024

Largest edition to date offers array of free educational and networking opportunities

PACK EXPO East 2024 (March 18–20; Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia) allows attendees to expand industry connections by participating in two events taking place alongside the show, the Foundation for Supply Chain Solutions’ (F4SS) Spring Connect 2024 conference and Vision 2030.

The F4SS Spring Connect 2024 conference will occur March 19–20 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Room 204A. Industry leaders will discuss trends and issues facing the supply chain, how companies handled supply chain complexity during the past three years, and how F4SS addresses ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and sustainability regulations. Sessions will also take place on the show floor at the Industry Speaks stage (Booth 1653), allowing PACK EXPO East attendees to experience a taste of what the conference offers. Spring Connect 2024 conference participants may attend PACK EXPO East free of charge. (Separate registration required).

PACK EXPO East producer PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, will host Vision 2030, 7:30-9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, in Room 307AB. This interactive breakfast meeting will explore the current state of aftermarket services and how brands and their suppliers can work together for mutual success. A panel of experts will identify the biggest aftermarket challenges, the best solutions, and where brands find the most value in aftermarket offerings. Roundtable discussions follow, where attendees can learn from their peers and industry suppliers and depart with solutions for their operations. Attendance is by invitation only, and space is limited. Contact Andrea Admana at aadmana@pmmi.org for details.

PACK EXPO East also offers an array of free educational sessions on the show floor, along with extensive networking opportunities. New to PACK EXPO East, the Industry Speaks stage (Booth 1653) presents industry experts from the PACK EXPO Partner Program, covering multiple verticals, who will address the latest hot topics and industry trends such as workforce, emerging brands, cybersecurity, and standards. Several sessions will focus on recent reports published by PMMI Business Intelligence, including Craft Beer and Spirits: Success Through Packaging and Trends in Remote Services and Monitoring. On the always-popular Innovation Stage (Booth 1153), exhibitors present free, 30-minute seminars about breakthrough technologies, innovative applications, and proven approaches.

Other show highlights include the Reusable Packaging Pavilion, the Association Partner Pavilion, the Workforce Development Pavilion, and networking opportunities such as the Taste of Philly Opening Reception from 4:00–5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in the Grand Hall, the Young Professionals Network Reception from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at SPIN Philadelphia, and the Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network Reception from 4:00–6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, in Room 204C.

PACK EXPO East is the leading show on the East Coast this year for packaging and processing professionals wanting to explore new technologies, meet key partners, and see innovation in action. The largest PACK EXPO East to date will bring together 7,000 industry professionals and 500 exhibitors, spread out over 100,000 net square feet of space, offering crossover solutions for many of today’s most significant manufacturing needs to more than 40 vertical markets.
