Douglas Vectra® Cartoner with Robotic Infeed Eliminates Star Wheel Change Parts

ALEXANDRIA, MN. (January 5, 2015) – Douglas’ innovative robotic pick-and-place infeed eliminates over 30 star wheel change parts and manual adjustment points, reducing changeover by 20 minutes for single-serve cup applications. Integrated with Douglas’ Vectra cartoner, the dual Fanuc M-3iA Delta robots provide no change in capital investment while gaining valuable production time.
