Jet Marking Systems Becomes Certified Partner of Markem-Imaje

Jet Marking Systems (JMS), a provider of label application solutions and ancillary equipment, has become a Certified Partner for product identification and traceability solutions manufacturer Markem-Imaje. The result of extensive vetting per Markem-Imaje’s Partner Program, the deal will increase parts, servicing and machinery availability for Michigan customers in Jet Marking Systems’ main territory of Western Canada.

The collaboration will reportedly result in numerous benefits for existing Markem-Imaje customers in Western Canada, including a wider range of packaging, marking and coding offerings and enhanced service options. For JMS, the partnership will yield 200 new customers that had previously dealt exclusively with Markem-Imaje. Customers will benefit from localized tech support and expedited parts, maintenance and machinery availability.

As a sister company of Jet Label, Western Canada’s largest provider of labels and printed tape, Jet Marking Systems serves customers from seven locations across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. At these locations, JMS carries a solid inventory of equipment, consumables, and parts to service its clients’ in-house packaging and marking equipment.

“We are honored that Markem-Imaje chose to leverage our strong presence throughout Western Canada for a partnership that will benefit not only both companies, but also our customers,” said Dan Stickney, general manager of Jet Marking Systems. “With the overarching goal of enhanced service and increased availability, the collaboration is a smart combining of resources that improves both company’s market position.”

“A Canadian owned and operated enterprise, Jet Marking Systems is focused on selling, servicing and maintaining label applicators, industrial printers, conveyors, case sealing and tracking and traceability solutions,” said Paul Desrochers of Markem-Imaje. “By providing integrated solutions to industry challenges in labels and packaging, JMS is an ideal partner in our efforts to better service an expanding customer base.”
