Berlin Packaging Continues European Expansion With Acquisition of Verrerie Calvet in France

Verrerie Calvet will be integrated into Berlin’s Bruni Glass organization and will be run in partnership with Bruni Glass’team in France, which has offices outside Nice as well as two warehouses. All of the product lines that Verrerie Calvet brings are now available to all customers of Berlin Packaging, Bruni Glass and Bruni Erben. Verrerie Calvet customers also now benefit from the products and services that Berlin and Bruni offer, including an array of glass packaging and innovation centers located on two continents.

“We are excited to become part of the Berlin Packaging family and to embrace our new Bruni Glass colleagues,” said Stéphan Calvet who, along with his brother Eric, owned and operated Verrerie Calvet. “I am proud of what we have built and I know this new partnership will bring much more opportunity for our customers and employees.”

The Calvet brothers will continue with the company and all Verrerie Calvet employees will also remain with the business. Plans for investment and growth are already underway.

The acquisition of Verrerie Calvet is expected to close in the following weeks. Integration planning is already underway.
