upakovka Returns in 2019

upakovka 2019, Russia’s most important trade fair for the packaging sector and related processing industries, will take place at the AO Expocentre Krasnaja Presnja exhibition center in Moscow from January 29 – February 1, 2019. The range of exhibits will cover the entire value chain for the target groups of food, beverages, confectionery products and baked goods as well as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, non-food consumer goods and industrial goods with a focus on processing and packaging technology.

The packaging segment at the upcoming event will again be expanded. The increased alignment towards the pharmaceutical sector due to the partnership with the Association of Pharmaceutical Packaging Manufacturers (APFU) is also new in 2019. APFU represents the interests of leading Russian manufacturers of pharmaceutical packaging. At upakovka 2019, pharmaceutical companies will not only find solutions for solid products, but also for liquid medications. In addition to beverage bottling technology, filling technology for cosmetics and chemicals will be presented by exhibitors such as KHS, Krones, Sidel and SMI.

Companies taking part in upakovka 2019 within the official German delegation will include global players such as Fawema, KBA, Theegarten-Pactec, Sollich and Thyssenkrupp Rasselstein. Rovema, AUER Packaging, OMAG Srl, SIPA, CFT Group and OMAS Tecnosistemi are among the individual exhibitors. Various companies of the “Processing & Packaging – The High Tech Italian Way” network and members of the Italian mechanical engineering association UCIMA will also be represented at upakovka 2019. Russian exhibitors will include Danaflex-Nano, Zolotoy Shar Group, Russkaya Trapeza and Robotek Production Company.

Since upakovka 2019 is organized as part of the interpack alliance, the “innovationparc” special topic adapted by interpack in Düsseldorf, Germany will also play an important role in Moscow. The forum program of  the innovationparc at upakovka 2019 will take place on two stages with focus on “Digital Innovation for Packaging & Labelling,” “Packaging Design,” “Recycling and Packaging Waste” and, for the first time, “Pharmaceutical Packaging and Labelling.”

upakovka 2019 will again be held concurrently with interplastica, International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber. A total of 850 exhibitors will showcase their products at these two events.
