Pharma Tech Industries Hires Two Senior-Level Quality Control Professionals

Brisco Harward Joins as Director of Technical and Quality Services, Kathryn Weingart Hired as Vice President of Quality

ATHENS, GA | Pharma Tech Industries, one of the largest pharmaceutical contract manufacturers and packagers of powder products in the world, has hired Brisco Harward as director of technical and quality services, and Kathryn Weingart to the role of vice president of quality. Both professionals have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and bring a thorough knowledge of quality control to Pharma Tech Industries as the company expands its production focus.

Brisco Harward

Harward comes to Pharma Tech with more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with primary responsibilities ranging from technical support of manufacturing to FDA Quality Remediation. His work with dosage forms, controlled substances and tropical products span the Rx, OTC and cosmetic categories. Mr. Harward earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, as well as an MBA from Pfeiffer University.

Kathryn Weingart

 

 

Weingart joins Pharma Tech with over 30 years of quality assurance, regulatory and technical operations experience in regulated industries. Her career has included quality assurance roles with Qualitest, Pfizer, Cardinal Health and Procter & Gamble, where her work primarily involved the implementation of effective corporate quality systems and regulatory affairs. Weingart holds degrees from the College of Mt. St. Joseph (Cincinnati) and the University of Cincinnati. Recently, Pharma Tech has expanded its focus to include contract manufacturing for nutritional and nutraceuticals products. The addition of Harward and Weingart supports the CMO’s dedication to providing pharma-grade quality control within these burgeoning sectors.
