Leak Detection Associates Announces Partnership Agreement With Shanghai Zillion

Leak Detection Associates (LDA), the world’s premier manufacturer of custom built, helium-based leak testing instruments for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and Food Packaging Industries, announced that a formal partnership agreement with Shanghai Zillion has been signed. The agreement will grant exclusive rights for Zillion to represent LDA in all of China.

As a supplier of package system instrumentation and services in China, Zillion has the local knowledge and experience to expand the already strong Leak Detection Associates’ brand to this market. Based in Shanghai, the Zillion team is positioned and experienced to serve LDA clients in need of helium-based leak testing instruments and the ancillary accessories and services that go with them. Shanghai Zillion maintains of staff of 28 service and sales engineers ready to serve existing and new clients.

Shanghai Zillion will serve as the exclusive product and service provider for Leak Detections Associates in China, offering LDA’s complete product line and accompanying services. LDA’s current model, the SIMS 1284+ helium leak detection instrument, is the only custom designed and manufactured helium leak testing instrument that meets the operational and regulatory requirements of the pharma, biotech and medical device industries. In addition, LDA and Zillion will offer a full suite of support services that will include custom designed change parts to address various container and package configurations, system parts and add-on options as well as local service, repair and qualification programs. Offerings will also include future product line developments. LDA engineering team is also finalizing development and production of the new SIMS 1915+ unit, is in the late stages of introducing new 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software and engineering a brand-new system specifically for testing at deep and ultra cold temperatures down to -80C.
