National Snack Food Month: Wrap Up Waste by Recycling Your Snack Wrappers

It’s National Snack Food Month and Americans are reportedly snacking more than ever. While single-serving snacks are all the rage, an unfortunate side effect is that their packaging tends to end up in landfills and incinerators. Most wrappers are made from a mix of materials like polypropylene, aluminum foil, and paper that are not typically accepted by municipal recycling services.
