Christian Traumann Of Multivac New Interpack 2020 President

At the recent advisory board meeting, Christian Traumann, Managing Director and Group CFO of MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. KG, was elected as President of interpack 2020. Since 2015 Christian Traumann has been the Chairman of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association within VDMA (Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) and already served a President for interpack in 2011. The interpack 2020 Vice-Presidents will be Markus Rustler, Managing Partner at Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG, and Roland Strassburger, CEO of SCHÜTZ GmbH & Co. KGaA. All candidates were elected unanimously.

This first meeting of the Advisory Council of the world’s most important trade fair for the packaging sector and related processing industries indicates the official start of the strategic orientation phase and content-related preparations for the event. interpack will take place from May 7 – 13, 2020 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. The upstream supplies trade fair “components – special trade fair by interpack” will again be held concurrently with interpack in 2020. Exhibitor registrations for both trade fairs have already started and will be accepted until late February 2019.

Exhibitors and visitors at interpack 2020 can look forward to a completely re-designed South entrance with a new Hall 1. Starting in summer 2019, this new building will replace the former Halls 1 and 2, offering six conference rooms in addition to the exhibition area. It will be directly linked to the Congress Center South.
