Weber Packaging Solutions Unveils New Labeling Tech at PACK EXPO
Weber Packaging Solutions will unveil new label application technology at PACK EXPO International Booth S-2446., Nov. 3-6, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Discover a solution for just about any product label application, and see demonstrations of a new print-apply system with a high-speed electrical servo driven applicator, plug & play inkjet kits, a new line of ultra-reliable, compact label applicators, and more.
Explore the New Model 4050B Series Electric Stroke Label Printer Applicators
Weber Packaging Solutions has launched a new line of their global Model 4050 print-apply systems that feature an electric linear thruster coupled with their famous tamp-blow label application.
The new Model 4050B design allows accurate, high-speed label deployment while still using the non-contact label dispensing in the last ¼” of travel. The high-speed electric actuators increase the application speed over traditional pneumatic strokes while all but eliminating the need for air.
The new models in the series include the Model 4050B ES with an electric swing, the Model 4050B EL with electric linear stroke, and the Model 4050B EB (all electric, no air) driven belt to wipe-on apply the label. For two-label adjacent-side labeling, the new Model 4050E-RR uses an electric stroke/swing for carton labeling.
Discover Markoprint Plug & Play Inkjet Kits for Label Applicators
Weber Packaging Solutions is now making it easier to add inkjets to your labeling operation. The new Markoprint/Pack Leader application kits are “plug & play” solutions that allow you to seamlessly integrate an inkjet option to print directly on your labels before application.
These kits include the inkjet coder and mounting hardware that mounts the Markoprint system on your Pack Leader label applicator just before the label is applied. This is an easy, more readable option for date coding and it saves precious floor space as it attached to the label applicator.
The Markoprint X1/X2Jet technology requires minimal maintenance due to its HP thermal inkjet cartridge system. Each new cartridge provides a brand-new print head.
Weber offers a wide range of ink options to suit various surface finishes, with several color choices available. Kits are available for all Pack Leader Series systems and are compatible with both new and existing Pack Leader equipment.
Discover New Label Applicator Options for the Weber Alpha Compact G3 Series
Weber Packaging Solutions has introduced a new line label applicators based on their ultra-reliable Alpha Compact design. The Alpha Compact next generation G3 Series applicators can be used for just about any product label application.
The Alpha Compact G3 Series features an all new 7” color touch screen controller for quick access to all the system parameters and diagnostic information. The Alpha G3 is available in a range of application methods including the standard wipe-on, an electric swing-tamp-blow and an electric tamp-blow applicator. The high-speed electric actuators increase the application rate over traditional pneumatic strokes while all but eliminating the need for air.
Another new system is the Alpha Compact G3 WRAP which is a compact wrap-around solution for round straight-walled products. It features an integrated RL Craig wrap conveyor.
