Depalletizer Runs Small, Lightweight Glass Bottles

A-B-C’s Model 108 bulk depalletizer is the answer for packagers who require maximum flexibility as it runs glass and plastic bottles, metal cans and composite containers in a range of sizes. This system is shown depalletizing miniature 50ml round glass bottles with dimensions of 1-1/4″ diameter x 4-5/8″ tall. The depalletizer handles the small, lightweight bottles with precision, with exclusive features that work to maintain bottle stability from the pallet to the discharge conveyor. Layers are squared before transfer by the unique layer squaring mechanism and the secondary layer and slipsheet are secured during top layer sweepoff. Layers are continuously contained all four sides as they move from the pallet to discharge. The variable frequency motor drive provides soft-start, soft-stop operation throughout transit.

This depalletizer can run a range of plastic and glass bottles and metal containers interchangeably, with no optional change parts required.  Changeover is completed by entering new product and pallet parameters on the touchscreen panel at the operator console. The system can handle pallet loads up to 110” high. Container discharge can be configured to unload containers at low, medium, or high level.

Optional features allow each packager to choose their level of automation, including empty pallet stacker, picture frame and slipsheet remover, full pallet conveyor, and container single filer. The depalletizer can be retrofitted with optional features at any time if requirements change.
