Douglas’ New Robotic Metering Reduces Maintenance and Improves Simplicity

Douglas recently announced a design improvement applying its SCARA robot technology to the metering system on Contour™ 60‐Series machines. A single robotic arm uses Rockwell controls and replaces linear motors from the previous metering design.
