ACG Wins Red Dot Award for Automatic 100% Capsule Checkweigher

ACG Group has received the Red Dot Award for its Automatic 100% Capsule Checkweigher. The award-winning machine precisely and continuously weighs hard capsules in empty-filled or partially-filled states.

The Automatic 100% Capsule Checkweigher, from ACG’s Engineering Group, features an integrated electromagnetic force restoration (EMFR) weigh cell that utilizes the latest digital technologies to ensure accurate measurement. The machine can weigh any size capsule without the need to change parts and offers an output of up to 200,000 capsules/hour.

The checkweigher also is equipped with an automatic de-jamming mechanism, which ensures constant product flow without any blockages. A calibration kit for optimized gauging of load cell/weigh cell furthers overall precision and performance.

The Red Dot Award is a prominent international distinction recognizing the best products of the year across categories including product design, communication designs and design concepts. In 2018, 265 awards were presented after receiving 5,640 entries from 55 countries.
