Dalton Electric Heating Co., Inc.

For 100 years, Dalton Electric Heating Co., Inc., has been a leader in industrial process heating. Watt-Flex® Cartridge Heaters and Diff-Therm® Platen Heaters are used throughout the world in manufacturing industries such as aerospace, automotive, chemicals, composites, plastics, forging and many others.
Watt-Flex® Cartridge Heaters have a patented split-sheath design coupled with continuous coil technology. When energized, the bi-lateral legs expand to maximize heat transfer through greater contact with the wall of the bore. Better heat transfer means less power is consumed to maintain set point temperature. Maintaining set point temperature results in consistent heat and reduced operating costs. When de-energized, the legs contract to allow for easy removal. The unique split-sheath design reduces production down-time and eliminates bore seizure. The revolutionary continuous coil eliminates problem cold spots and burn outs typically seen at the segment junctures of traditional cartridge heaters. Watt-Flex® Heaters can also be configured for customized temperature profiles with varying zones of heat along the heater.
Diff-Therm® Vacuum Diffusion Pump Heaters are a one-piece replacement alternative for many OEM brands. With a swaged assembly, Diff-Therm® heaters provide easy installation and increased dielectric density for better heat transfer and longer heat life. Diff-Therm® Heaters are normally available from stock in over 100 sizes and electrical combinations.
