Positive Growth for Printpack Alger 2018

Due to the increasing interest in the North and West African market, as well as the high level of satisfaction at the previous event, printpack alger 2018 is showing positive growth. The 6th International Trade Fair for Print Technologies and Packaging for Algeria, the Maghreb and West Africa will take place from March 11 – 13, 2018 at Centre International de Conférences CIC in Algiers, Algeria. printpack alger 2018 is jointly organized by fairtrade and Messe Düsseldorf and supported by drupa – the leading international trade fair for printing technologies held in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The Algerian, Maghreb and West African markets for paper processing, printing technologies, finishing and packaging printing are on the upswing. According to the VDMA (German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association), Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia imported print and paper technology worth Euro 131 million in 2016. In packaging technology, the amount reached Euro 340 million. West Africa imported printing and paper technology worth Euro 122 million and Euro 240 million in packaging technology. Since Algeria is Africa’s third-largest importer of printing and paper technology and the largest importer of packaging technology, printpack alger is the ideal venue for international companies to showcase their products.

At printpack alger 2018, renowned exhibitors will present technologies and solutions along the entire value chain – from prepress/print, premedia/multichannel and postpress, converting and packaging to materials, equipment, services and infrastructure – tailored to the needs of North and West African customers.

A total of 47 exhibitors from 12 countries will participate in printpack alger 2018 (compared to 21 exhibitors from six countries at the previous staging). The exhibitors will come from Algeria, China, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Poland, Taiwan, Tunisia and Turkey.

Held concurrently with printpack alger 2018 will be plast alger 2018, the 5th international trade fair for plastics and composites for Algeria, Maghreb and West Africa, with more than 200 exhibitors from 23 countries. Together, printpack and plast alger 2018 will feature 250 exhibitors from 25 nations. The organizers expect about 4,500 trade visitors from more than 20 countries.
